Career Experience Courses

How do I know which course to study at University?
Do I want to be a Doctor, a Journalist, a Designer or a Forensic Scientist?
What will the working environment be like?
What particular subjects or degree will be required?

Career Experience Courses are a unique opportunity for students in their last two years of study, to experience the nature of the work or study undertaken in various occupations or subject areas, and to look at the environment in which they are carried out, and the entry requirements needed. By taking part you will learn about the challenges and opportunities facing school leavers and graduates in the employment market, and the career developments which are open to those who perform well. You will also learn about the personal qualities that recruiters are looking for in candidates and often hear from recent graduates in training. In many cases participants find their career ambitions are reinforced by their experience of the courses attended or alternatively realise they need to revise their career plans.
